NARUC is pleased to announce that the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) and the Energy Agency of the Republic of Serbia (AERS) are pursuing an Energy Regulatory Partnership. NARUC, through cooperation and funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Belgrade, will implement this partnership.
The partnership is designed as a vehicle for the exchange of experience and information between U.S. and Serbian regulatory bodies with the goal of improving market-based regulatory practices and fostering long-term sustainable relationships between both agencies. This partnership will allow AERS to have broad access to US regulatory environment and will enable the Pennsylvania PUC to learn new techniques and methodologies as well as gain an understanding of the regulatory practices in Southeast Europe.
