NARUC is pleased to announce that the Colorado Public Utilities Commission and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan - Electricity Regulatory Commission are pursuing an Energy Regulatory Partnership. NARUC, through cooperation and funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Jordan, will implement this partnership.
The partnership is designed as a vehicle for the exchange of experience and information between U.S. and Jordan regulatory bodies with the goal of improving market-based regulatory practices and fostering long-term sustainable relationships between regulatory bodies in both countries This partnership will allow the ERC to have broad access to US regulatory environment and will enable the CO PUC to learn new techniques and methodologies as well as gain an understanding of the regulatory practices in the Middle East.
